A student visa application is mostly an exercise in paperwork. The applicants who get approved quickly are rarely the ones with the strongest grades — they are the ones whose files are complete and consistent.
Start with your passport. It should have at least six months validity beyond your intended travel date, and enough blank pages for the visa sticker.
Next, proof of funds. Embassies want to see that the money has been in the account for a reasonable period, not deposited the week before you applied. Sudden large deposits invite questions you may not be able to answer.
Finally, be consistent. The name on your passport, your certificates and your bank statements should match exactly. A middle name that appears on one document and not another is one of the most common causes of delay, and it is entirely avoidable.
